For Me and My Gal... A classic!!!!

We watched this awesome movie, it is such a classic! For Gene Kelly's first movie,it was phenomenal!
Gene and Judy were so great together in this film. It is about Judy and Gene who are both vaudevillians.....
Gene wants Judy as a partner for an act he wants to try, reluctant as Judy is they end up getting together....

They work their way up until they are about to play at the palace when Gene gets his draft notice as WW1 springs up. Gene(not wanting to go) smashes his hand in his trunk, hoping not to go. Judy's brother(who entered the war) dies and she feels her duty to serve. Getting angry at Gene, they split!  Soon after in Paris, they meet up. Gene talks to Judy(very touching part) and leaves saying that his one victory was that she was once his girl.

In the end, Judy(as WW1 sweet heart) sings at the Palace, whereas Gene is there watching. She points during her song at him, and runs into his arms. After which, the orchestra plays the theme song. And Gene and Judy together sing on stage in eachother's arms. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh

The front cover. This is a totally classic Gene Kelly and Judy Garland movie. The ending is so touching that it will make you want to cry( I have).
The theme song in the movie. ENJOY!!!!!!!!

Out and about.

We had a girl's afternoon with our Mom, and our first stop was Joann's fabric store. Our little sister Goosie girl enjoyed looking through the idea books.
Oh No!!!!! Don't get girl's into a craft store! Pirate-rock stars Hair Stylist and Tapper being silly(ha ha).
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh. Little Goosie girl joined in the fun as Jessie the cowgirl!
Afterward we went to lunch at a deli. We ordered 2 different types of sandwiches, Italian Sub, and Sand Dunes(which is the sandwich shown here. It had avocado, Swiss cheese, and some kind of meat).
YEAH!!!!!! Coca Cola, what gets better than that.
Hair Stylist and I before the freezer where we picked out our pop. It was a nice day even though it was cloudy.
