Quotes.

Some great quotes I would like to share with you all. During the holiday season, sometimes God gets pushed to the back burner of life with all that goes on. Parties, activities, and being busy, and so its good to go back and remember where you stand as a christian and how important your relationship with God is. This first quote (above) I find so inspiring!!!! May they all bless you!!!!

Thanks to Kayla over at Love, Joy, Peace, here where I found all these inspiring quotes!

Andy Williams Christmas.

Here are clips from the Andy Williams Christmas Special that used to air during Christmas time. Ahhhh the times like this where shows were innocent and lovely. He does an introduction, so if you want to skip into it, it actually starts at :47 seconds into it. Hope you enjoy watching, and Merry Christmas!!!!

Christmas Decorating

I realize that Christmas is only a week and a couple days away, but we've had our tree since the beginning of Dec and I am finally posting a post about it. Hair Stylist and I did some decorating after the lights were put on.

Our lovely tree topper that we found while resale shopping!

This is our tree from the bottom-up. I thought it looked pretty with the twinkling lights! Merry Christmas!!!!

A Christmas Painting.

A little art to show you this Christmas. I had an inspiration from a painting I saw from Pinterest. Except it was all black with little color. So I thought it would look neat to do sort of a mosaic looking nativity scene.
If you're wondering what kind of paint I used, I simply use acrylic. Though I have scribbled around with oil pastels. But for all my paintings I use acrylic.
I was very happy at how well it turned out!!!! Now it hangs above our mantle, and it can be something to bring out every Christmas. Merry Christmas!!!!!

Christmas Chocolate Crinkles

Hello once again!!!! My regular posting has been detoured by my laptop not working. But as you see, its up and running again, YEAH!!! Anyway here is a delicious cookie for you all to try this holiday season. Start out with 1 1/2 cups of sugar.
 1/2 cup of oil
 2 tsp of vanilla
Mix that all around and you'll get sort of a sugary consistency.

4 cubes of unsweetened chocolate. I put mine in a bowl and put it in the microwave for about.... well I did mine in shifts so that it wouldn't burn. 10-20 second shifts.
 My melted chocolate
Pour it into your sugary mix.
 Mix it all up
Next drop in 3 eggs and mix it together
 2 cups of flour....
and 2 tsp of baking powder
Finally mix it all together and scoop it into a bowl, then put it in the fridge till its firm enough to roll into balls.
Once ready, roll into balls and coat in powdered sugar. Preheat your oven to 375 and bake them for 12-15 minutes( depending on how well done you like your cookies) NOTE: Before putting them in, press them down a little, this will help them to spread out.

Yummy!!!!! Christmas Crinkles, delicious! A favorite holiday cookie that is gooey, rich, and chocolaty.Enjoy!!!!
