Quotes.

I laughed at both these quotes when I read them. Who doesn't love chocolate or coffee? But I think its funny to think that yes indeed they grow just like any other vegetable. The thing that makes them unhealthy is the process that it goes through. Hope that you all have enjoyed one of these "vegetables" today!

Today.

" Today"- Hair Stylist and I worked at our little local library, helping with the summer reading program for the kids. Walking on the way to have lunch with Tapper, I alternate my messenger bag that I have my laptop in back and forth on my shoulders( a little too heavy to be carrying on an otherwise cloudy but humid day)
We enjoyed laughing and talking over lunch, and ended up driving home through a crazy rain shower!

Brioche Hamburger Buns.

I made some delicious brioche rolls for a classic summertime meal- Hamburgers.
I found this recipe from a cooking blog, and have been wanting to try it. They were so soft and fluffy, and made delicious hamburgers.
Here is the recipe, and I hope that you will enjoy it!

Salt and Light.

Matthew 5:13 " You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again?" 14" You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.-16" In the same way let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."

Pray!!!

Our prayers are needed for this mother (Meriam Yahia Ibrahim),who was arrested in Sudan for defending her Christian faith. Her father was a muslim, and her mother was an Ethiopian christian who brought her up as a christian. She became a doctor, and married an African American man who is a paraplegic. She has a 2 year old son, and just had a baby in prison. She has been tried in court and was given three days to renounce her faith  but she holds true to Jesus Christ as her strength. She is sentenced to death in two years after the baby is weaned. After six weeks of recovery from the delivery of her baby girl, she is going to receive 100 lashes for marrying a Christian man, which is considered adultery in the muslim faith. Our prayers are needed in a huge way for this mother, who sits in shackles in a prison with her two children. Pray for courage, peace, and comfort, that God's peace would be with her, and that His grace would be her strength. We need to pray that if it is God's will that she dies that her courage would be a witness to the muslims. And if she would be released, then to God's glory!
