The Finished Bathroom!!!

Hair Stylist: "So here it is........... the finished bathroom you all have been waiting for. First of all we want to thank Sapphire for all the art work she did, she did a great job.This picture above is of the sun with some clouds[remember the before pic]. Well now its very bright and SUNNY.

Here are some beautiful flowers,

This is an orange flower,

and she added a scripture Psalm 150:6. 

 

These flowers are right under the scripture,

This flower I could not get in frame with the other flowers so it had to be by its self,

And last but not least she added a kite which I love. I hope you all enjoyed, I'm glad we could share this painting experience with you all.

Bike Riding!

 Hair Stylist: On a very cloudy day Tapper and I took the little's [our brothers and sister] for a bike ride to get their energy out. It was hard to get pictures cause I was on my bike too!

Painting!

 Hair Stylist: So recently we've been redoing our bathroom it used to be a yellow color and it was looking old so we decided on painting it blue. In the pictures it looks like a sky blue but it is actually a little bit darker than a sky blue. Thanks to Tapper our sister she painted the bathroom and she did a good job. Tapper and Sapphire decided on adding clouds, a sun, some flowers etc, to make it cute.

 Sapphire is the artist in our home, she paints beautiful portraits which she gets from her nana [let me know in the comments if you want to see them].

Beautiful Blossoms

 Hair Stylist: Today my mom and I went grocery shopping and on the way I saw this beautiful tree so  I thought I would take a picture of it to share it with you girls, we don't have pretty trees like this around our house.

Here is a close up of it, [I love the tint of pink to it]. Beautiful!!!!!

Sunday Morning

 Hair Stylist: Here are some pictures of us girls Sunday morning. Goosie Girl and I.

And we can't forget about Sapphire in her beautiful dress. The sun was shining very bright but it was a very beautiful morning. I hope you all had a wonderful Sunday. Thanks to our mom who took the pictures.

Mocha Chocolate Ice Box Cake!

Sapphire: I have been trying some different recipes and so for Mother's Day I tried a recipe from Barefoot Contessa.  It was chocolate chip cookies layered with an awesome mocha, coffee liqueur, whipped cream, and known best as a Mocha Chocolate Ice Box Cake. This was a superb and delicious cake, and so easy as well. No baking! All you have to do it slip it in the refrigerator the night before and WALLLA!

I added some chocolate shavings from a Hersey's bar on the top. Here's the recipe for the cake- Mocha Chocolate Icebox Cake on the Food Network. The only thing that I had to change was the mascarpone cheese, I made my own homemade version which was just as good( though I have never had the real thing) here is that link also-http://www.food.com/recipe/mascarpone-cheese-substitute-66077  . I made my own homemade chocolate chip cookies too, HINT- just make sure that you over cook them so that they are on the crisper side or you'll get a mushy mess.Hope your family will love it as much as mine did. Frutti Tutti!

 Hair Stylist: I love fruit and since summer is coming up different types of fruit are now in season. Here are just a couple of fruit pictures I found [no I did not take any of these pics].

Oreo's!!!

 Hair Stylist:"So the other day Sapphire found a recipe on Pinterest on "how to make homemade Oreo's", well  Sapphire was crossing her fingers hoping that they would turn out right.Well.... to get down to the point they turned out GREAT! And they were a big success everybody ate them. So its a keeper.

And here are the forty-eight complete Oreo's.

Braids:)

 Hair Stylist: "Hello Girly's I hope you all are doing well?. Today I have a hairstyle for you all and personally this is one of Goose Girls favorites.  

 This is the side view.

And this is the top view. What it is?. It is a Dutch braid pulling in her bangs and two braids coming down the sides it takes me about seven mins to do this. [By the way I just love Goose Girls shirt don't you?].

Fun with the littles

Hair Stylist: "Today was a very nice warm day. So I thought I would take a couple of pictures of the little kids doing different things outside to make it fun.

 Here they are having fun together swinging on the swings. Sometimes they laugh so hard that they almost fall off so you have to keep reminding them to "hold on".

Next I had them step on some stepping stones [which I thought this looked kind of cool]. 

 Here they are running down the stepping stones.

 Next I had them make somewhat of a pyramid which they did really good on even though they were laughing their heads off and it took a lot of try's to get the picture right.Sorry about the squinting eyes the sun was very bright.  

 They all finally fell down and couldn't take it any more soooooooooo.....I stopped but............... 

 the boys lost it and started to wrestle which did not last long.

And at that time I thought it would be the perfect time to take a picture with Goose Girl. Since it was getting hotter out we did end up going inside and having apples for a snack. Little brothers and sisters are such fun.
